Rock Creek Cattle Company is proud to have built a top-notch outdoor shooting range, complete with pistol targets, mid-range targets, long range targets, trap, skeet, and a top of the line Sporting Clays course. We invite you to share in this unique experience while at the Ranch.
We have knowledgeable guides on staff * to assist our members and guests. We also maintain a fine collection of rental firearms, including rifles, pistols, and shotguns made by Colt, Browning, Ruger, Winchester, and Beretta as well as ammunition and safety equipment.
Sporting clays is a simulated hunting game. The course is designed to simulate the hunting of ducks, pheasants, other upland birds and even rabbits. Targets may be thrown from literally any angle or distance to simulate wing-shooting, and four different sizes of clay targets are used to further give the shooter the experience of actual hunting conditions.
Our steel targets vary from 20-yard pistol targets, to 75-yard AR-15 targets, to long range rifle targets reaching out to 800 yards. Nothing is more satisfying than the sound of ringing steel moments after squeezing the trigger.
