William P. Foley, II is Chairman of Cannae Holdings, Inc. Mr. Foley has experience as a board member and executive officer of public and private companies in a wide variety of industries and a strong track record of building and maintaining stockholder value and successfully negotiating and implementing mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Foley has driven favorable outcomes due to his operational expertise, disciplined industry consolidation and rapid execution on cost-reduction opportunities in connection with mergers and acquisitions.


Mr. Foley has over 32 years of experience as a director and executive officer of Fidelity National Financial, or FNF (NYSE:FNF). FNF is a leading provider of title insurance, technology and transaction services to the real estate and mortgage industries. Under Mr. Foley’s leadership, FNF has become the nation’s largest title insurance company through its title insurance underwriters – Fidelity National Title, Chicago Title, Commonwealth Land Title, Alamo Title and National Title of New York – that collectively issue more title insurance policies than any other title company in the United States. FNF also provides industry-leading mortgage services through its majority-owned subsidiary, ServiceLink Holdings, LLC. Mr. Foley has served as the Chairman (and at times, Executive Chairman) of FNF since 1984. Mr. Foley served as FNF’s Chief Executive Officer from 1984 to 2007.



In addition to his experience at FNF, from 2006 to 2011 Mr. Foley served as Executive Chairman of Fidelity National Information Services, Inc., or FIS (NYSE:FIS), served as FIS’s non-executive Chairman from 2011 to 2012 and has served as FIS’s Vice Chairman from 2012 through 2016. Under Mr. Foley’s leadership, FIS has become a global leader in financial services technology, with a focus on retail and institutional banking, payments, asset and wealth management, risk and compliance, consulting, and outsourcing solutions. Through the depth and breadth of its solutions portfolio, global capabilities and domain expertise, FIS serves more than 20,000 clients in over 130 countries.


Mr. Foley has also served as Executive Chairman of Black Knight Financial Services, Inc., or Black Knight (NYSE:BKFS), since January 2014. Black Knight is a leading provider of integrated technology, workflow automation, data and analytics to the mortgage and real estate industries. Additionally, Mr. Foley has served as Co-Executive Chairman of CF Corporation, a blank-check company with over $1.1 billion of committed equity capital, since April 2016. CF Corporation announced the acquisition of Fidelity & Guaranty Life, a leading provider of fixed indexed annuities and life insurance, on May 24, 2017.

Mr. Foley is the founder and Chairman, CEO and President of Foley Family Wines Holdings, Inc., which has grown to become a major producer, marketer and distributor of highly-acclaimed, handmade wines from some of the world’s greatest vineyards. From 2007 to 2014, Mr. Foley also served as Chairman of Remy International, Inc., a leading global manufacturer, remanufacturer, and distributor of alternators, starter motors, and electric traction motors for the automotive and commercial vehicle industry.

Mr. Foley devotes time to many educational and community organizations. He serves as an advisory board member for the University of Washington School of Law and on the Florida Forum Advisory Board for the Women’s Board of Wolfson Children’s Hospital. Mr. Foley and his wife are active philanthropists for many causes, especially in support of children’s education. Mr. Foley serves as a trustee on the boards of the Folded Flag Foundation, the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce and the Cummer Museum of Arts and Gardens.

After receiving his B.S. degree in engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, Mr. Foley served in the U.S. Air Force, where he attained the rank of captain. Mr. Foley received an M.B.A. degree from Seattle University and earned a J.D. degree from the University of Washington School of Law. In February 2016, Mr. Foley received the Distinguished Graduate Award from the United States Military Academy at West Point based on his character, distinguished service, and stature drawing wholesome comparison to the qualities for which West Point strives, in keeping with its motto: “Duty, Honor, Country.” Mr. Foley is one of only 121 West Point graduates who have received this prestigious award.
