SUMMARY: Rock Creek Cattle Company is searching for the role of Director of Housekeeping to manage the day-to-day operations of team. Provide training, coaching, and counseling to housekeeping teammates. Maintain and manage all operations for Housekeeping by ensuring a positive and safe working environment. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that best serves our members.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Interact with all teammates in the Housekeeping Department. Evaluate, coach, counsel and provide leadership support; work closely with departments such as Concierge, Maintenance and Events to create great experience for our members and guests. Conduct inspections of all accommodations, general areas and provide feedback to Housekeeping teammates. Oversee and maintain hiring and scheduling procedures and ensure accurate and timely payroll reporting by housekeeping management. Delegate tasks and evaluate the performance of team. Provides input into and executes strategic plan consistent with the strategic vision of club, in conjunction with General Manager. Evaluates and corrects or modifies systems and structures that create problems or impede commitment to excellence in service. Responds to member service interactions in a professional and timely manner, achieving positive resolutions. Promotes and develops team- oriented philosophy stressing the importance for providing unparalleled commitment to excellence in service. Evaluates staffing levels in accordance with business demand, providing recommendations for adjustments whenever possible. Perform other job-related duties as requested.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide training, coaching, and counseling to Housekeeping teammates. Ensure all accommodations are properly prepared. Ensure all team members are being productive while working in a proper and safe manner. Hold teammates accountable for all standards and lack of productivity within housekeeping.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities at a high level. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Working knowledge in all aspects of Housekeeping Department. Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to lead and mentor a team. Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts. Professional appearance and demeanor. Knowledge of pertinent laws and regulations impacting Housekeeping including OSHA. Knowledge of various computer applications including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and software used for housekeeping. Ability to effectively communicate, in both written and oral forms. Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Minimum three years experience in housekeeping department. High school or equivalent education required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
